Rescue Response Gear Lab - Rope Access Level 1 (SPRAT)

Rigging skills are highly usable commodities when hunting, fishing, camping or any other activity that requires surviving in the wild. This course will arm the participant with valuable rope skills, including applicable knot craft, rappelling and ascending rope, construction of wilderness anchors, advance (back saving) rigging skills associated with moving heavy objects like stuck vehicles or hauling your big game out of difficult locations.

From their site:

"This course is designed to prepare the student with the knowledge and skill set necessary for passing evaluation for the rigorous SPRAT standards for Level 1 Technician (Rope Access Worker). Four days are dedicated training days while the fifth is testing and evaluation. Testing and evaluation will assess student acquisition of the knowledge and skill set necessary for a pass of evaluation. Following evaluation students will be given a final pass or failure of SPRAT evaluation. SPRAT will issue final certification to each student passing evaluation."
