Send Ready Coil is Sterling’s new process for hanking a new dynamic rope that’s ready-to-climb, straight from the factory. No uncoiling and flaking needed.
What makes Send Ready different than our current lineup?
Sterling’s current factory coil looks good on the shelf, but it’s not ready for climbing. The current new ropes, require specific uncoiling processes to avoid kinks and twists in a new rope. The Send Ready Coil ropes will be climb ready, no excessive flaking or running through devices before climbing.
What products will be Send Ready coiled?
All Fall '22 Sterling dynamic ropes will be Send Ready coiled.
How will folks know whether the rope is Send Ready Coil?
Send Ready Coils look like a backpack coil. Look for the icon on your Sterling packaging.
