Hot Pipe Testing: Heat Resistant Ropes
“What would happen if a rope supporting a technician were to come in contact with a steam pipe? How long would it last?” Our R&D team devised a test to determine what would happen when ropes of different fibers and different diameters were exposed to 700-degree pipes, similar to what Rope Access Technicians experience with steam pipes at refineries.
