Pulling conductor across long transmission spans puts serious demands on a stringing line: high strength, low stretch, and a construction that won't snag or bind in the blocks. The Sterling TuffX-12 Stringing Line, 7/16" diameter, is a 12-strand HMPE rope built to deliver the same strength and stretch performance as steel wire at a fraction of the weight, with the abrasion resistance and flexibility to hold up across thousands of feet of pulling.
The optimized twist and braid construction is engineered to flow effortlessly through stringing blocks and resist snagging, even under tension over long spans. Each unit is individually serialized and supports easy rope inspection through the Scannable platform, just by scanning the label's data matrix with a phone. The rope meets the design and performance requirements of ASME B30.30, with the overhead working load limit clearly displayed on the label at both ends.
Now available in set lengths and four colors, the 7/16" TuffX-12 makes it easy for crews to assign and track 4 simultaneous lines on a job, plus the general safety/inspection benefit of high-vis coating with custom lengths and colors available on request for specialized pulls.
